Artist Statement
Ideas for paintings emerge from the landscape everywhere. I look for lines that will become contour lines and create patterns. I want to tweak the natural colors and have the scene come alive and then get lost in it. That’s what I do – get lost in it- to escape my very large, wonderful family. It’s been exhilarating to notice their increased awareness of art and see them see the world through my eyes.
